integer_net as a part of the Magento Community
We enjoy being part of the big Magento family and its ecosystem that values collaboration. That’s why we want to share our knowledge, new ideas and experiences with others.
At the same time, we are always happy to meet many great dedicated people that are active in the Magento community. That is one of the reasons why you can often find us at various events such as Meet Magento, Magento Live EU or Magento Imagine.
What else are we up to? You can read more about our contributions on this page.
Regular Talks
The Magento community thrives on the collective knowledge of its members. That’s why we like to give informative talks on current topics.
Community Meetings
We regularly organise community meetings in Aachen so that all new and old community members can get to know each other and exchange ideas.
Expanding Knowledge
We are always working on solutions to problems that arise in the Magento community. At the same time we are continuously improving our skills.
Sharing Knowledge
To ensure that we can share our experience and knowledge with as many interested people
as possible, we are active on many different platforms.

Our goal is to make life easier for everyone. That’s why we hold informative talks at conferences and community meetings to enable face-to-face exchange.

You can also find us in several groups on Slack. Members of these groups exchange information on various topics and find answers to questions. Want to be part of it?
Events
There are many ways to meet members of the community. One of them is the various industry events we
regularly attend, including Meet Magento, Magento Imagine, Magento Live and other tech and e-commerce conferences in Europe.
We are looking forward to meeting you there!

Euregional Magento Meetup
The vicinity to the border makes Aachen particularly appealing. That’s why there are also community meetups with our Dutch and Belgian friends, organised by integer_net and Vaimo from Genk. The meetings take place in Heerlen, Aachen and Genk. All interested people are welcome to attend.
These meetups will start in 2022 and we’re already looking forward to it!

Magento-Stammtisch Aachen
We regularly organise a Magento Stammtisch in our home town Aachen. This is more than an opportunity to exchange ideas in small groups: We also offer presentations and discussions on current topics. Depending on the situation, the meetup takes place as a video conference or offline in person. This event is perfect for polishing your German.
Join us next time!

MageUnconference
integer_net is at the heart of the MageUnconference: We regularly support the event as a main sponsor, usually offer several sessions and are involved as active participants. At this Unconference everyone can suggest a topic in the morning that others vote on, and if selected present a talk or moderate a discussion. That means topics are up to date and we learn from each other. Check it out!
FireGento Hackathons
Whether it’s online or offline: Several integer_net team members are present at every hackathon. In a relaxed atmosphere, we look for technical solutions to current problems while enjoying delicious food. It’s a great way to get to know other nice Magento experts while exchanging ideas with them on various topics.

Welcome Wagon Meet Magento DE
It is important to us that newcomers to the Magento community quickly find their feet. That’s why integer_net created the Welcome Committee for all new participants where everyone can meet like-minded people right at the start. After a great success during the first event, the Welcome Wagon was expanded at Meet Magento DE 2019.
MageRun Leipzig
To make sure you don’t just see the conference halls at Magento conferences but also get some exercise, there’s been a special idea in our community since 2016, traditionally hosted by integer_net: Before the actual Meet Magento DE event we run together, so that we get the opportunity to see more of the city and to get some fresh air. It’s perfect to balance out the long hours of sitting.
Coding
New challenges emerge every day. We deal with certain problems for example on
StackOverflow or in the Magento Forum and publish applicable solutions on GitHub.

modules we have already published,

TddWizard Fixture Library
This module offers an alternative to the Procedural Script based fixtures in
Magento 2 Integration Tests.
Umlauts in URLs
With this module on Github, umlauts (in e.g. German, Hungarian, Turkish or Finnish) in URLs can be better implemented.
The Magento Masters
In the past years, Magento has awarded people for their special commitment to the Magento community. There are three categories: Maker, Mover and Mentor. We are proud that Sonja, Andreas and Fabian have been awarded Magento Masters several times for their contributions to the community.
The Magento Masters regularly participate within the community, are good representatives of the brand and create a positive environment for the further development of the entire community. They are selected through a ranking system.
