It all started with a short email in 2013. Since then, we have been supporting our client Pure Tea in the development of the online shop for top-quality organic teas. The owner-managed company also demonstrates its high standards in customer service, in its own social actions and in the sustainability of its products.

High quality standards
At Pure Tea the name says it all: The online shop of the company from Lüneburg in Lower Saxony offers organic teas of the purest quality. Owner Andreas Brehm and tea taster Ralf Janecki discover the perfect teas during their travels to the best tea-growing regions in the world. Produced in harmony with nature, these teas offer true flavour. Customers of Pure Tea can find extensive information about the individual tea plantations and families that produce the teas in the online store.
Our cooperation with Pure Tea began with an inquiry in 2013. Initially requested as support for the development of the existing online store, we soon took over the complete technical support of the store in the following year and started the implementation of a relaunch of the store. What we particularly like about this cooperation is the clear focus on smooth functionality and the security of the shop. Ideas for new functions are already well thought out when submitted to us. The concrete concepts make it easier for us to discuss suitable implementations.
Shared passion for good tea
Pure Tea successfully employs the enthusiasm for the traditional drink to build a unique relationship with its customers. Mutual trust is central to this. For example even new customers have the option of paying by invoice up to a purchase value of €100.
For shorter click paths and a more relaxed shopping experience, we implemented a special slider for Pure Tea which is mainly used on the homepage and the category pages. This allows the company to draw the attention of website visitors to new products. The extensive product detail pages contain a lot of information about the products, presented in different types of media such as videos of the respective tea plantation as well as maps that mark the origin of the tea.


A clear design for happy customers
If customers have a taste for the product and would like to reorder, this is easily done in the customer account area of the online store. This means that it is no longer necessary to search for the exact product. Instead supplies can be ordered with just a few clicks and customers can be sure that this is the product that they have enjoyed so much.
The design of the shop is based on a clear, well-structured and consistent concept. The corporate design and the logo were redesigned based on these principles. The aim was to make it easier and more intuitive for shop visitors to find their way around the Magento store. Every year during the Christmas season, we use a design specially developed for the festive season that promotes the Christmas spirit and encourages a cosy teatime.

Outlook
Progression is just our cup of tea: We are already working on other projects with Pure Tea.
Migration to Magento 2
The migration of the shop to Magento 2 has already been planned. The layout is currently designed by a design agency so that it can then be technically implemented by us.
