In January 2016, we have joined ExtDN, the Magento Extension Developers Network. ExtDN was very young back then, but it’s now already counting 17 members. All of them leading extension providers, the members of ExtDN are committed to offer innovative, high quality extensions and share a common vision regarding a thriving Magento ecosystem.
ExtDN members commit to exemplary behaviour in the following areas:
- Codeing Standards
- Collaboration and Competition
For merchants, ExtDN is the go-to place when you are looking for a trustworthy Magento extension provider. It is not just about the code quality but it is also about proper behaviour regarding copyright and business conduct.
Cooperation for a successful Magento ecosystem
With joint forces, ExtDN promotes aspects that are beneficial to merchants, extension providers and the Magento ecosystem in general. For example, we strive to innovate extensions, aiming to offer new features and benefits to merchants. An advantage of a closer cooperation with other third party extension providers is certainly an enhanced inter-operability of our extensions.
In touch with Magento
ExtDN is not just a network to improve our extensions. We work together with Magento decision makers, especially during these days of Magento Marketplace‘s overhaul. Quite a great share of those in the Magento Marketplace Council are members of ExtDN, too. It is our goal to establish fair conditions for merchants and extension providers on Magento’s extension sales platform.
In this market, the merchant’s success enables the extension provider’s success and vice versa. Therefore, we believe that ExtDN gathers the right members from our Magento community to help us all build a thriving Magento ecosystem. Among ExtDN members, you can find a number of well-known Magento extension providers.
