Join the Magento Meetup Aachen at the city’s Christmas Market
Myriad lights all over the city
wodden booths next to the cathedral
mouth-watering smells of roasted almonds
rosy cheeks under fluffy hats
steamy glasses filled with mulled wine
That sounds good, doesn’t it?
Once a year, the Aachen Magento Meetup invites you to step outside and enjoy an evening in the city. We meet at Aachen Christmas Market to drink a glass or two of mulled wine.
Surrounded by the Aachen city hall and the cathedral that dates back to 800 A.D., you can catch up with fellow Magento enthusiasts or just take in the atmosphere.
As soon as our toes start to tingle from the cold, we head to a restaurant nearby for dinner.
Meeting Point
We meet on Monday, 5th December, at “Öcher Glühwein-Treff” at 6 p.m. It’s the mulled wine booth on Katschhof that is closest to the cathedral. On the official map of the Christmas Market it’s named “Weingut Keth – M. Schmitz”. This is the destination on Google Maps.
Aachen Sightseeing
While you are in Aachen, why not do a little walking tour for some sightseeing? Let Andreas know and he will show you the main sights of Aachen before the actual meetup takes place.
International Guests Welcome
This year, our meetup is a bit more international than usual. Our guests’ IP addresses are located in the USA, Paris, Cologne and other places. Ben Marks has registered too. So be prepared to speak (or at least listen to) a bit of English.
