And afterwards off to the hackathon
On the weekend following the training, on February 9-10th, a Magento hackathon and contribution day takes place Bremen. It is organised by the association FireGento at the office of team neusta. Developers and other people interested in Magento are invited to work together on different projects. A great opportunity to put to use your newly acquired knowledge and thereby repeat it all. At the same time you can meet new people. The tickets for this hackathon are sold separately at the website of FireGento.
How about a little tour to the hanseatic old city center of Bremen?
Bremen has a long history which can be experienced in the city center. On a small space you will find the famous Town Musicians of Bremen, the cathedral, the town hall and the Bremer Roland – the latter two are UNESCO world cultural heritage.
With the river Weser Bremen has a connection to the North Sea. Ships and water have a great influence on the look of the city. The Europahafen next to the training’s location is an example, as well as the training ship Schulschiff Deutschland in the harbour of Bremen-Vegesack.
