Our client cherry
Cherry is internationally known as a manufacturer of high-quality computer input devices, including keyboards, mice, and other solutions for professional users. The company is especially renowned for its internationally acclaimed mechanical switches based on proprietary MX technology. For its subsidiary Cherry E-Commerce GmbH, which specializes in international online retail of Cherry products, we are responsible for the technical implementation and continuous development of the online shop.
Before the project, the online presence consisted of a combined corporate website with an integrated webshop. However, this setup proved to be cumbersome, difficult to maintain, and lacking in flexibility. Cherry therefore decided to clearly separate the two areas and entrusted us with the relaunch of the webshop.
The objective was to bring Cherry’s high quality standards and exceptional in-store user experience into the digital world. The focus was on delivering a best-in-class user experience, combined with maximum performance and a future-proof architecture. With the implementation of the modern Hyvä frontend, the new shop delivers exactly that: fast loading times, high stability, and a user-friendly shopping experience.

The relaunch with Hyvä Themes led to a significant performance boost — both noticeable for users and measurable for Cherry. Improved loading times and a streamlined checkout process positively influenced user behavior: a lower bounce rate and a higher conversion rate clearly demonstrate the project’s success.
The shop also performs strongly behind the scenes: its seamless integration with the Plentymarkets ERP system ensures efficient data flow, while the integration of Payone enables a smooth and versatile payment experience. Thanks to Hyvä's flexible architecture, design adjustments can be implemented quickly and easily — keeping the shop adaptable and future-ready at all times.
