Design Bestseller

Since 2012 we have been supporting the Aachen-based company During this time, we have accompanied the development from a launching online shop to a design furniture giant 🪑

What is needed for this? Not shying away from challenges and a good cooperation.

Already in 2012, Design Bestseller found its way into our agency and has not left since. We supported the online furniture retailer, which was still small at the time, gained valuable experience and grew together. Since then, Design Bestseller has opened up new markets for itself, and we have been involved in the internationalization of the shop in other European countries as well as in the constant improvements for an all-round functioning system, implementations of individual functions and the optimization of internal merchandise management.

Design meets Perfomance 💎

After we took over the Magento shop, it initially suffered from enormous loading times. So it was up to us to optimize them. With a comprehensive redesign, in which we rebuilt the system from scratch, the errors were corrected. We carried out this redesign in collaboration with the Cologne-based agency pooliestudios, which created the design concept. Our task the technical realization in Magento.

To keep up with the times, we also implemented the powerful Hyvä themes at Design Bestseller.

With a modern frontend, all sides can benefit: the online shop can score points in terms of short loading times and SEO, which also allows customers of Design Bestseller to have an improved user experience.

In the course of our time, we had many joint projects, some of which were characterized by very precise ideas of Design Bestseller. For example, we programmed and implemented the checkout as a multipage module based on a precise template from Design Bestseller. The requirements were so precise and comprehensive that we have redesigned the checkout to suit them.

Growing with our customers

Customers like Design Bestseller bring exciting challenges, sometimes going beyond the standard functions of a regular online shop. For us, this means the chance to demonstrate our skills and gain a new perspective on the state of things.

New feature requests are to us not just an implementation project, but an opportunity to delve deeper. We always look at several perspectives: Which digital processes are already established? How will an innovation affect existing shop functionalities? What effects can be expected on performance? And of course: Are the potential benefits in proportion to the costs?

This holistic approach allows us to provide sound advice and make viable decisions together. Even if it means entering uncharted territory, we are not afraid to take a step forward. Rather, we are attracted by the challenge of going beyond the standard and creating something new together, with openness, technical expertise and the goal of long-term successful collaboration.
