Since the end of 2019 we can count the Dutch specialist for lighting and sound with focus on B2B as one of our customers. Starting with only 2 people Highlite has made its way up to be one of the leading supplier for show-equipment in Europe. In order to further increase their growth the company digitalizes their processes and swears on an extensive Online-Shop.
One reason for Highlite to find a new technical partner was the enormous loading times, which made shopping in Magento difficult. Accordingly, one of our first tasks was to solve this problem. In addition to improving Performance, the goal was to create a modern frontend with a reliable base. Based on Hyvä Themes, we started the development of the Magento frontend from Highlite. In addition to the new frontend, existing code has been evaluated, optimized and unnecessary functions have been removed. With the relaunch, the performance has been optimized and the lighthouse score was improved. In addition, the optimal basis was created for us as a Magento agency to be able to maintain the Magento shop reliably and efficiently in the future. Security risks caused by outdated modules have been fixed and the functions of the shop have been adapted to the requirements of Highlite.
Previously Highlite had hired agencies for the Magento store but later decided to work with a freelancer. When the shop became successful, the requirements increased and Highlite decided to expand the shop to Magento 2 in 2019. We were selected to realize the expansion and to act in an advisory capacity. We also optimize internal processes and identify potentials. Highlite is innovative and willing to try new things, which gives us the opportunity to constantly learn.
Magezon's PageBuilder was already used before the relaunch and plays a central role in the content maintenance of the Magento shop. We made sure that the PageBuilder can continue to be used even after moving to Hyvä Themes and optimized it accordingly to Highlite's requirements.
