Back in 2014, many events in the Magento ecosystem were somewhat disappointing for developers. The tech track often had the smallest room of the venue and too many people in the room. The topics were chosen months before the event and are no longer up to date with the latest developments in the fast paced IT world often.

The Conference for Magento Developers

As a solution, the first MageTitans conference took place in Manchester. Organised for developers by developers, this single track conference has since spread a new spirit among conferences. All MageTitans events emphasise the three C’s: connect, collaborate and communicate. They are the conferences with a noticeable social conscience.

While its offspring are already seen in Europe, the USA and Latin America, the original MageTitans still takes place in Manchester. The event is organised by Space 48.

Regular guests at MageTitans

After my colleagues Fabian and Andreas have been to previous editions of MageTitans in the UK, this year it’s my turn. With a lightning talk about language I hope to provide some inspiration and actionable tips for the audience.

Tickets for the conference and DevExchange

If you want to join me, there are still some tickets available. MageTitans takes place on the 10th of November. There will be a DevExchange on 9th of November where anyone with a conference ticket can take part in discussions and networking. After the experience of DevExchange at Magento Live Europe, I am really looking forward to this part of the trip. These conversations bring you so many insights, it’s like a hallway track but more comfortable.
